Starboard quarter view of the sloop yacht AVATAR (ex SOUTHERN STAR III) under sail. AVATAR was built as SOUTHERN STAR III in 1965. She was designed by William Tripp and built in Jutphass, Holland. Stamped on back in blue: "MORRIS ROSENFELD & SONS / PHOTOGRAPHIC ILLUSTRATORS / 116 NASSAU STREET, N.Y. 10038 / Phone 233-4970".
