Description: 35 mm color slide taken by Rosenfeld and Sons at the 1964 America's Cup Races, Newport, RI. Port aft view of the 12 meter sloop CONSTELLATION (US 20) undersail. Vessel seen heeled on a starboard tack. This is a partial view of the vessel, including the entire hull and all but the upper third of the sails. Eleven crew members visible. Handwritten on slide mount: "Constellation". Printed on mount: "23/ AUG 64N". Printed on reverse: "Kodachrome/ TRANSPARENCY/ PROCESSED BY Kodak". CONSTELLATION was a successful US defender for the America's Cup 1964. Her syndicate was owned by 18 members of which Walter Gubelmann and Eric Ridder funded.
