Description: 35 mm color slide taken by Stanley Rosenfeld in September 1968. View of two Shields Class sloops (#137 and #84). Vessels seen on a broad reach, beam view of starboard side. Sloop #137 is seen attempting to fly its spinnaker. Shields Class sloops were designed by Olin Stephens and were first built in 1963. They measured 30' in length and grossed 3080 tons. Handwritten on slide mount: "Shields Class / Box-119-19-25". Factory printed on mount: "30 SEP 68N13". Stamped on mount: "BY STANLEY ROSENFELD". Printed on reverse: "Kodachrome / TRANSPARENCY / PROCESSED BY / Kodak".
