Description: 8 x 10 gelatin silver print, made from a 4 x 5 Kodak safety negative, taken by Rosenfeld and Sons on September 22, 1945. View of the yacht historian William P. Stephens, seen standing in a yacht yard. Mr. Stephens was born in Philadelphia, and a graduate of Rutgers University in 1873. He died on May 10, 1946 at age 91. He was known as "the father of American Yacht reporting". Stamped on back in blue: "PHOTO BY / STANLEY ROSENFELD / MORRIS ROSENFELD & SONS / PHOTOGRAPHIC ILLUSTRATORS / 163 WEST 23RD ST., N.Y. 10011 / PHONE: 989-2404".
