Nevins built 12 meter sloop COLUMBIA (built 1958 in City Island, N.Y.) at America's Cup Trials off Newport, RI. Visible in image: cropped port bow view of COLUMBIA pounding her bow through the waves on starboard beam reach under marconi-rigged mainsail and jib, her bowman holds on while she noses through a wave, land in background.
