Nevins built 12 meter sloop COLUMBIA (built 1958 in City Island, N.Y.) and 69' Alexander Robertson and Sons designed, David Boyd built 12 meter class boat SCEPTRE (built 1958 in Sandbank, Scotland) at fourth race of 1958 America's Cup. Visible in image: starboard quarter view of SCEPTRE (12/K17) on port close reach heeled over, rail to water as COLUMBIA (12/US16) on a starboard close reach crosses SCEPTRE's bow, as seen from port quarter, under marconi-rigged mainsails and genoas, on windy day.
