Description: 5x4 safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons during the time of the New York Yacht Club Cruise which started in early August of 1954 and ended on August 12th. Imageof CARIBBEE undersail, starboard beam view with spinnaker set. CARIBBEE was a 58 ft. auxiliary yawl designed by Philip L. Rhodes of Cox & Stevens, Inc. and built by Henry B. Nevins, Inc. of City Island, New York in 1937. Her owner in 1954 was Carleton Mitchell. Stamped negative sleeve info.: "142406F / N.Y.Y.C. 1954 / [Box] 5373". Handwritten: "CARIBBEE / Wed.".
